Cookie policy
Last updated: October 17, 2026
This policy lists the cookies and similar technologies used on stealthseller.co and app.stealthseller.co. It supplements our Privacy policy, which explains what we do with the information they collect.
1. What these technologies are
A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser and reads back on later visits. Local storage does the same job without being sent to a server on every request. A pixel (or tag) is a small script from another company that runs on our pages and reports the visit back to that company, usually setting its own cookie as it does.
First-party ones are set by us, on our own domain. Third-party ones are set by the company that provides the script, on its domain.
2. Strictly necessary
These make the Service work. Without them you cannot sign in or stay signed in, so they cannot be switched off from inside the Service.
- Session and security cookies (first-party, app.stealthseller.co). Keep you signed in, tie each request to your account, and protect forms against cross-site request forgery. They last for your session or until you sign out, and at most 30 days.
- Theme preference,
v3-theme(first-party, local storage). Remembers whether you chose light, dark, or system appearance. Kept until you clear it.
3. Attribution and referral
These remember how you reached us, so that a signup can be credited to the campaign, link, or affiliate that brought you.
ss_attr(first-party cookie, all of stealthseller.co, 90 days). Set only when you arrive from a campaign link or another website, never on a direct visit. It records the campaign parameters (utm_source,utm_medium,utm_campaign,utm_content), any Google or Meta ad click ID, the referring page, the page you landed on, and when. The app reads it once, at signup. The first landing wins: a later visit does not overwrite it.ss-via(first-party, local storage). Keeps an affiliate's referral code from a?via=link so it travels with you when you go from the website to the app. Kept until you clear it.- Rewardful (third-party cookie, 30 days). Our affiliate platform's referral cookie, which credits a subscription to the affiliate whose link you followed. See our Affiliate program terms.
4. Analytics
These count visits and usage in aggregate so we can see what works and what is broken. We do not use them to build advertising profiles.
- DataFast (first-party, served through a.stealthseller.co). Counts visits, the pages viewed, and where visitors came from. Its visitor cookie lasts up to one year and its session cookie 30 minutes.
- PostHog (first-party, served through analytics.stealthseller.co). Measures which pages and features get used. Its cookie lasts up to one year.
5. Advertising
These report visits to advertising platforms so we can measure our ads and show them to people who have visited. Under California and other state privacy laws this is "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising, or "targeted advertising", and you have the right to opt out; see section 7 of the Privacy policy.
- Google Ads and Google Tag Manager (third-party, Google). Ad conversion measurement and remarketing. Google's cookies last up to 13 months.
- X pixel (third-party, X Corp.). Ad conversion measurement and remarketing on X. X's cookies last up to 2 years.
When your browser sends Global Privacy Control, our website does not load either of these.
6. Support
- Intercom (third-party). Runs the support messenger, so a conversation you start continues across pages and visits. Its cookies last up to 9 months.
7. Your choices
- Global Privacy Control. Turn it on in your browser (Firefox, Brave, DuckDuckGo, or an extension) and our website stops loading the advertising pixels in section 5.
- Browser settings. Every major browser lets you view, delete, and block cookies and local storage, for all sites or for ours. Blocking the strictly necessary ones signs you out.
- The platforms' own controls: Google ad settings, X personalization settings, and the industry opt-outs at optout.networkadvertising.org and optout.aboutads.info.
- Email us at privacy@stealthseller.co with "Do not sell or share" in the subject.
8. Changes to this policy
When we add, remove, or change what a technology does, we update this page and the "Last updated" date. If a change materially affects how your information is used, we will tell you as section 14 of the Privacy policy describes.
